Forget the Proud Boys, let's investigate the NY Times and Georgia

This is confusing, but some of the Proud Boys had their sentences for seditious conspiracy dismissed. The executive branch decides who to prosecute, not the judges.

To understand what just happened with the Proud Boys convictions being tossed out, you have to look at it through the lens of pure, unadulterated American institutional mechanics. It is a story about the separation of powers, where the gears of the Constitution ground together, made a terrible screeching noise, and did exactly what they were designed to do even if it left the presiding judge looking like he’d just farted audibly in church when he thought he was just releasing a silent one.

In the grand tradition of government machinery, the system worked exactly as written, even if the result feels entirely surreal. The executive branch used its constitutional muscle to decide a crime wasn’t a crime anymore, and the judiciary was forced to nod, tip its hat, and go back to its chambers to write a sternly worded essay about the fragility of democracy.

As Judge Kelly darkly noted, if the American experiment is going to last another 250 years, the people not the courts are going to have to be the ones to defend it. Because when the Justice Department decides to walk away from a fight, the judge is just a man in a black robe holding a useless gavel.

Not to mention, the FBI has far bigger fish to fry like the failing NY Times, the Reflecting Pool and Georgia Voting in November 2020. I'm sure they'll find their Alger Hiss at some minute scale. Not enough to have impacted anything, but enough to convince those who need only the slightest of convincing.

Pipe Bomber not part of J6 Pardons

Come on, planting a few bombs outside the democratic and republican headquarters doesn't qualify one for the sweeping J6 pardons, they are reserved for people who stormed the Capitol looking for Mike Pence!  And assaulted police officers along the way with bear mace and various objects.  And of course defecated in the Capitol and tried to subvert democracy.  But the line is clear: not for the pipe bomber. There are rules here, people!  And we have ethics!

Apparently Cole fell prey to the conspiracy theories of a stolen election, which of course the President sowed.

I wonder if there is a parallel universe where the J6ers go into the reflecting pool and clean it dailt of algae blooms instead to maintain its beauty rather than riot in the Capitol.

BBC J6 Lawsuit: Discovery is a biotch

Our current president is suing BBC for 10 Billion Dollars over selective editing of a speech, which the press does do to put our president in a bad light.  Which is odd, because there really isn't a need to as sunlight is the best disinfectant.  Just stick to the facts.  Plus, I thought he was a big fan of BBC.

Regardless, filing lawsuits, vexatious or not isn't really what I would think a tough guy would do.  But discovery is a biotch, I don't know if the legal team representing the president will want to turn over everything in discovery, I see a small undisclosed settlement.  Is that on Kalshi? Our Presidents lawyers are already complaining.

Can get arrested: Jake Lang reduced to holding provocative signs at BET Awards

Jake Lang is trying to hang on to his 15 minutes of fame of being a pardoned rioter at the Jan 6 riots.  He is now reduced to holding offensive signs at the BET Awards and getting chased off/arrested.  I think that someone should come up with a MAGA Hollywood Squares Show, and he can fiitingly take Paul Lynn's Center Square.  Faux News, do you hear me? It would be a great great shoe.  Or maybe a different J6er can get unmasked at the end of the new and improved Scooby Doo Show.....Jake could say "and I would have succeeded if it weren't for you kids interested in the actual contents of our Constitution" Or something like that.  I guess nowadays a guest role on Big Brother or Naked and Afraid will have to do.

Anyway, Connie, I don't know what he does for money or how he earns his living, but tell him the answer is no.

I wonder if he can eat 50 eggs.

Jake Lang arrested, again

Jake Lang, pardoned J6er, must have some sort of adsense for being arrested or somehow otherwise figured out how to monetize arrests. Or he figures that only strengthens his newsworthiness and credibility. He has branched out from traditional rioting and into social politics that really is best left alone. This time he allegedly claimed he was shoot someone in the head, during the sensationalized Karmelo Anthony trial. His hairstyle looks like early combover.  His parents must be proud when asked about their son at cocktail parties that they obviously attend.

He is our most frequently cited J6er, kudos! Check out the search section for more on ole Jake.

Grab bag: More on crimes of pardoned J6ers, Pence, DOJ Logic

They should really consult an expert like myself for these articles. PBS has their take as well,  which makes me feel better about how I do my reporting. Over 6% of the pardoned J6ers have faced new offenses.  I wonder how that stacks up against imigrants, etc. Jake Lang is trying to set the record for most arrests after a J6 Pardon, but we haven't confirmed at our newsdesk.

Interestingly and unrelated Pence isn't so sympathetic to the slush fund.

Interesting doublespeak from the Justice Department on the slush fund for J6ers and the like.  "It's dead but don't kill it or something like that"

Oxymoron alert: J6er Elias Irizarry hired in Counterterrorism Role at Pentagon

Qualified, maybe. Patriotic? Well, I think we have a different definition of what constitutes patriotism.  In his defense he was just 19, if you know what I mean. How could I dance with another, whooo!

Best line : "AI won't take your job, a convicted J6er(but pardoned) will"

Jake Lang descends upon Dearborn, MI and Minneapolis

In an interesting battle, Jake Lang has tried to cause additional chaos in Dearborn, MI.  Dearborn and surround cities have a high muslim ...
